Global human tissue profiling and protein network analysis reveals distinct levels of transcriptional germline-specificity and identifies target genes for male infertility

Using motif enrichment analyses, Frédéric Chalmel and his colleagues identified regulatory promoter elements likely involved in germline development. They constructed a regulatory disease network for human fertility by integrating expression signals, interactome information, phenotypes and functional annotation data.

The Chalmel team acknowledges the GenOuest facility for the GermOnline systems administration.

Targeted Capture of Homoeologous Coding and Noncoding Sequence in Polyploid Cotton

In their recent article in Genes, genomes, Genetics,  A. Salmon et al. demonstrate the feasibility of target enrichment using sequence capture in polyploid cotton. In their article, A. Salmon et al. acknowledge the GenOuest facility for its bioinformatics infrastructure used mainly for sequence assembly and SNP detection .
